Anders Riel Müller

is an Associate Professor of City & Regional Planning at the

University of Stavanger. His research examines the cultural & political

economy of urban transformation, land use, energy, & food, focusing on

justice and colonial legacies. He is active in the Sustainable Urban Development, Planning, & Design research group at UiS & has led initiatives including the NFR project, Future Energy Hub, & the Research Network for Smart Sustainable Cities.

Andra Riandita

is a Postdoctoral Fellow at UiS whose research lies in the field of entrepreneurship & innovation management. She focuses on firms & start-ups in relation to sustainable innovation, collaborating with industrial actors in the food & service sector, on their efforts in addressing societal issues such as food waste. She also has teaching experiences in courses such as Management & Strategy, Leadership & Innovation, & New Venture Management.

August Brunner

is an economics student at the University of Oslo with extensive leadership experience in youth politics & civic engagement. He has served as Deputy Leader of Oslo’s Youth Council & held multiple leadership positions across youth organisations, contributing to policy discussions at local & regional levels. His interests focus on democratic decision-making, legislative processes, & the development, negotiation, & formal approval of laws & political resolutions.

Sachin Maruti Chavan

is an Associate Professor at UiS researching advanced material chemistry & chemical engineering to design advanced materials for clean energy & environmental applications. His work emphasizes sustainable solutions for carbon capture, pollution removal, & recovery of critical metals essential for renewable energy technology. His research supports the development of efficient, low-energy, &

environmentally responsible material systems.

"This panel helped me realize that bringing up ideas for policy change in Norway can be done by anyone; you don't have to have a particular position in the government. I liked that the experts were passionate about the topics they were speaking on, and were willing to share their knowledge with us.
